LMD Associates, LLC is a group of IT professionals who design, manage and support information technology in hotels and restaurants throughout the country. Based in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, LMD specializes in providing technology services and products to the hospitality industry. These services include IT audits, hardware and software procurement, e-mail, project management, day to day IT operations and remote, onsite and help desk support.

SERVICES

IT Audits

IT Audits would involve a systems engineer physically visiting a property documenting and inventorying the entire technology infrastructure for the property, including network infrastructure, property management system, point of sale system, high speed guest room internet system, sales system and accounting system. A comprehensive Technology Evaluation and Recommendation document is drafted with the data gathered during the onsite assessment. Part of the Technology Evaluation and Recommendation document is an IT Roadmap that outlines where the property is at the time of the assessment and where it needs to be to ensure the systems are supported by their providers, hardware vendors, meet brand standards and are security compliant. The audit takes two full days to complete.

IT PROJECT MANAGEMENT

Properties can use LMD Associates to manage any/all technology projects including Property Management Systems (PMS) upgrades and installs, Point of Sale (POS), Sales systems, Accounting Systems. LMD Associates, LLC. will act as a liaison between the property and vendors, gather key contact information, determine specifications for and procure hardware, coordinate scheduling and onsite project management during implementation and provide technical expertise. We will ensure that all projects meet and exceed the hotels expectations and budget, brand standards and guests experience.

TELECOM AUDITS

Our ServicesTelecom Audits would involve gathering all telephone bills and review them for potential savings through our partner channels.

TELEPHONE & REMOTE SUPPORT

All management properties can benefit from LMD's internal help desk. All requests for technical support will be handled thru our internal IT staff who can resolve a majority of technical support issues via telephone or remote access without having to perform and onsite visit.

EMAIL HOSTING

LMD Associates, LLC internal infrastructure allows us to host multiple domains on our email servers allowing all users full Outlook/Exchange functionality. All email coming in from the internet is scanned for viruses and malicious content then delivered to our email servers. These servers are backed up several times during the day ensuring all emails; contacts and calendar are always available in the event of a system crash or user error. Our servers maintain a 99.999% uptime and include access via a secure internet connection to allow Outlook access from anywhere. Users will be able to send and receive email, view their calendar and contacts anywhere in the world with just a web browser.

MAIL-IN DEPOT SERVICE

Properties can FedEx computers that need to be rebuilt, cleaned of viruses and spyware, rebuilt or upgraded. Once service is complete, we box up the repaired computer and ship it back. We typically turn around a computer in two days.

WEBSITE FILTERING

We have in place a web filter that blocks access to certain websites, such as Facebook, MySpace and other sites that waste user, network resources and also contain viruses and spyware. Our web filter does not allow the downloading of files (except from certain, trusted websites) and significantly decreases the amount of viruses and spyware that infect workstations. Implementing our filter will increase user productivity, reduce internet traffic and decrease network utilization.

HARDWARE/SOFTWARE SOLUTIONS

With a client base of over 800 users, we can leverage competitive pricing from our hardware/software vendors such as Dell, HP and others to get the absolute lowest pricing on all PC hardware, software, printers/toner and peripherals. We are currently getting a 20% discount off of normal pricing

ONSITE SUPPORT

Properties can purchase retainer packages based on needs and size of property directly from LMD Associates, LLC. Each retainer package will include unlimited help desk and telephone support, onsite support (which will be outsourced to local IT consultants), remote support, mail in depot service and email accounts. Additional items (i.e., email accounts, additional on site hours, etc.) can be purchased A la carte.
